This site is a preserved copy of the original 8to32 site, and the contact form it once carried is no longer in operation — messages can no longer be sent to the developers. This page is kept so visitors know where the site stands rather than writing into a void.

Where to find answers

Most common questions are already answered on the site itself: choosing a bitrate, lossy versus lossless ripping and ID3 tags are covered in the FAQ on the home page; picking the right blank disc, audio-CD-versus-MP3-disc differences and why a burned disc won’t play in the car are answered on the MP3 CD Burner page; and the About page has a plain-English glossary of the formats mentioned throughout (MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, APE, VQF, AAC).
